search within my feedly, free of charge!
Ability to search for articles within my feeds, categories and just from all my feedly, free of charge!
Charging for an essential feature like search is a slam in the face for all people who came from google reader to find a worthy heir in feedly!
Search is not a pro feature, it is a mandatory one!
I haven't paid for the upgrade to Feedly Pro, but I don't begrudge them their attempt to make money. I don't think that search *must* be a free feature. I also don't think I'll pay $45 a year for it. Looking over their other "pro" features, I think that by far the biggest incentive to upgrade is search capability. If they reduce their price, I would definitely be tempted - but I really don't know how many people there are like me out there. I think that some people see making search a paid feature is user-unfriendly, and I get that, but Feedly is treading some new ground here with Google out of the RSS field, and my take is that I'm willing to cut them a little slack while they try to work out a feasible business model. I may not pay $45 a year at this point for what Pro offers, but I'm not writing them off, either.

This is outrageous! Arthur (co-founder and designer of feedly), you said "Enabling searching within your feedly is a very difficult thing to do. But we definitely understand the value of such a feature so we will be working hard on that one to make sure we can add it to feedly" on JUn 3!
Then, when this feature is ready ...OH OH, I'M SORRY BUT THIS IS ONLY HAPPENING WITH FEEDLY PRO!! Article Search in Feedly should NOT be a Premium Paid feature!!!! Shame on you, feedly!

Feedly Article Search is a premium feature? Who made that decision? Feedly is really looking for every possible way to make revenue. I will not pay for Feedly just to obtain something that normally free in every other feed reader out there.

Search is a pro feature? Time to find a new reader.

Note: This seems to be similar to the more popular suggestion, http://feedly.uservoice.com/forums/192636-suggestions/suggestions/3744380-search-within-my-feedly , If they were combined, then the total vote would be 17,119 + 604 = 17,723, increasing its popularity.
I agree !
INOREADER IS FANTASTIC !!!
Completely agree !!
i absolutely agree...

Search should definitely be a free feature. I can understand the others being PRO features, but Search is an essential function. Very disappointed in how Feedly is handling the transition from Google Reader.
I'm not the kind of person that thinks that everything should be free but I didn't like the fact that the didn't say that search was gonna be a "pro" feature but that "they were working" at it... and then i found out about 35$ bucks a year, after I've waited for months.
I think they should have beem honest about it from the start... switching to the old reader...
ps: the app sucks...

I agree, the search was a free feature when I moved everything over and got used to how feedly was set up. Bait and switch BS makes me want to go elsewhere, no matter how pretty feedly is.

I also feel that you did the bait and switch on ex-google users. You took what was a feature in feedly when I switched, and you're now charging for it. Makes me not want to use your service on principal.

Feedly is just not worth $45 per year. If you want to charge someone for basic things like search, I'll just switch to a competitor (begrudgingly), or stick with feedly if you can say come up with some kind of ~$20/year charge.

before the retirement of google reader, feedly included a search feature; obviously, there is an intention to use this feature to make people upgrade to the pro version while, I agree with Claus, it should be included in the default version.
Thanks Claus !

Do at least
search by titles without morphology - free
Search in body + morphology for premium users...

Search is expensive - I'm fine with paying for it and keeping Feedly in business.
PS! If you look at the InoReader forum, you'll see that they also are considering charging for search.
If this isn't free can we see the data points to understand why you are going to charge for this feedly?
In my view InoReader has really stepped up to the plate as far as taking over the mantle of RSS reader from Google, and I have already imported all my feeds from feedly, which at the moment is but a poor second best to their service, it has a great layout (feeds left indented), I can adjust the size and style of font, send to social or by email (unfortunately one click though... it takes two through a "send to" pop up tool bar....) and there is the a fore mentioned search which although not instant, works and is great addition missed here by the many non-premium users.
Inoreader did it , and its free :)
