  1. Bring back "Full Article View"

I used the full article view most of my time on pc, but I see that now it's gone everywhere except from the list of "All" articles.

I found it extremely easy to use, it gave a more direct reading experience instead of clicking article by article to see if you're interested on it

    Please bring it back

Hello, we’re sorry about how this change impacts your workflow and the associated frustration. We are a small team and it is very hard for us to maintain multiple versions of the UI as we add new features.

We did this during the first 6 months while moving from the old rendering engine to the new one to help users transition. We are going to focus now instead on trying to integrate all the missing features like the Full Article View to the roadmap to continue to bridge the gap in the new engine.

In other words, we are looking into ways how to add this back. Thank you for understanding.

    • add support for JSON Feed

Feedly should support adding feeds in the new JSON Feed format:
      https://jsonfeed.org

      e.g. https://daringfireball.net/feeds/json

      • Disable the section in the sidebar for "Boards"

If we don't have any Boards, I don't want that area taking up space in the sidebar. It ruins the minimalistic appearance of Feedly on the web. I never plan to use this feature and it feels forced upon us.

        • Can't set new feeds to open directly in website

All of my existing feeds that I had set to open directly in the website still do, but I can't set any new feeds to do the same as the option setting seems to have been removed. Am I missing something?

          • kindle fire - please fix the app that is offered for kindle fires!

The app has stopped working on my kindle fire. I uninstalled the version I had and downloaded a new version but it doesn't work because I can't log in with my google account. I have this set up on other devices and it works fine...why the new problem with the kindle fire? I am very sad that this doesn't work anymore!

Missing updates on individual channel feeds over the weekend. A token number seem to have trickled through (got an update from 9 hours ago), but quite a lot seem to be missing.

                • Indicate which feeds will not be refreshed (e.g., Reddit, etc.) so I can monitor them outside feedly

Feedly currently does not refresh some feeds (e.g., all apart from the most popular sub-Reddits).

As a user, it is impossible to tell which feeds are being refreshed and which are not. Feedly should indicate which feeds will not be refreshed (either due to rate-limiting or other reasons) so the user can choose not to subscribe to that feed in Feedly and instead read it elsewhere.

Alternatively, Feedly should indicate when it last checked the source for new items, so the user can see how far behind Feedly is likely to be (probably only worth displaying if more than a…

                  • Context-aware duplicate management, like News360

Take a look at the way News360 organize duplicate news. It's VERY clever. Every time a "big event" happens (e.g. Apple announces a new iphone), my feed is inundated by the same news, with slightly different perspectives (not exactly duplicates). It would be useful to have a "master topic" (e.g. "Apple launches new iphone", then all "related news" linked to it, maybe in order of popularity? This way, my feed would be so much easier to deal with...

                    • eliminate expressly Neo-Nazi websites from "related stories"

I currently have a New York Times article up on feedly, and the "related story" suggestion is from the Daily Stormer, a Neo-Nazi website. Feedly should not be promoting hate, particularly to those who aren't looking for it. I'm not asking for censorship, but there is a narrow set of hate groups that a responsible service should not promote.

                      • Stop alienating your customers....

When Google reader went away, feedly basically used the opportunity to sweep away a huge crowd of ex-reader users trying to find a replacement. The promise was a service that offered everything that Google reader did, as well as better features, and that it would be free. That was a big part of it, the service being "free". Well, we've been sitting here watching as the "free" service has lost more and more of it's features. How ridiculous is it that search is now a "paid feature"? The fact is this service no longer has a free option. Please understand,…

Hello, we’re sorry for your frustration, feedly will be always Free in a way that the core basics will still be free which means adding new feeds and reading them in one place in feedly.
There is a team behind feedly and we’re bootstrapped, We’ve built feedly with the funds from our customers and we’re growing in a same rate as our user base grow. The feature we add always come from our customers and we always involve them in the design process.
Your feedback won’t get ignored, we’ll still do what we an to support all of the 10 million users on our own hardware which costs a significant amount of resources every month, making the service stable and fast requires a team behind the product as well as an infrastructure.
I’ll share this feedback with the team.

                        • make RSS feeds for Instagram, YouTube (and not just Twitter) possible.

I am currently using fetchrss.com for it. With that I can integrate YouTube, Instagram and Twitter feeds. But it costs me 10 Dollars/month :-(( I would totally go Pro with you guys and skip them if you would create a feature like this!

Please give an option to turn off AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages). I would prefer to always see the full version of the websites I'm viewing. AMP changes formatting, photo sizes, visibility of comments etc.

                                  • No Help or Support within Feedly

I had a pretty simple question about Feedly, yet could not for the life of me find where I could go to get it answered. There was no help, FAQ, wiki, no 'contact us', or anything like that to be found. There was a "Support" option tucked in a menu, but clicking on it immediately dumped me onto the upgrade page. In other words, "pay up!" I had to leave the site and Google "Feedly help" to get here, which is ridiculous. I know you guys need to make money to keep the site running, but it really leaves a…
