  1. check the titles for duplicates

Checking the titles for duplicates would help not to show the same news from different sources side by side. It could be something that checks for substantives and if 3 or more are present in two different articles only show one of them.

  2. Deleting Multiple posts at the same time

It would be really great if you could select multiple listings at once so you can delete them at once rather than having to go through everything individually.

  3. "mark all of the above as read" keyboard shortcut

I tend to scroll through very long feeds and I'd love to be able to mark the part I've already looked at as read. A button would be fine, but a keyboard shortcut would be killer :)

  4. allow us to pause feeds

I set up feeds for things I'm shopping for (craigslist), or looking for (apartments), but then don't need to keep them on once I found what I'm looking for. But a year later, I have to recreate those feeds because there's no "disable" or "pause".

  5. unread: oldest first; read: newest first

I'd like the ability to save order separately for read and unread articles. I like that Feedly automatically shows read articles when there aren't any unread, but I like my current reading point to always be at the top of the page. Meaning, if articles are unread I want them ordered oldest first, but if they're all read I want them newest first.

The current on/off toggle method of "oldest first" for ordering feeds would have to be overhauled to accommodate this additional functionality.

  6. [Bug] Already read articles appear as unread on next feed load

If a user closes his Feedly tab or window in Chrome without having clicked the Feedly refresh button in the top right first, articles that have already been read appear again as new and unread articles the next time Feedly is opened.

  8. Disable feeds and/or categories

Vacation is here and I would find very very useful being able to temporary disable a category or a feed, so I don't have to delete it.

  9. Add a button, mark as read all above articles

It would be nice to get a "mark as read all above articles".
When I scroll trough a very long list, I may not have the time to check the entire list. If I scroll for 150 articles the "mark as read all above" would be usefull.
    cheers

  10. allow users the ability to delete a category all together instead of deleting feeds one by one.

Users should be able to delete a category if they chose to do so. I just had to go through and delete each feed one by one for the catergory to delete itself. i've looked around for an option to delete a category, but had not lucking finding an option.

  11. improve feeds by deduping articles and/or limiting the number of articles per day

    1. Many feeds have duplicate articles. De-dupe for me!
    2. I'd love to subscribe to a news feed (like CNN, WSG, BBC, etc.), but they all have so many articles, I can't keep up! Give me a way to subscribe to the feed but limit the number of articles/day. Pick them randomly, or pick the "best" ones according to some metric, I don't care.

  12. Sub-Folders

Why not add the ability to make sub-folders so you can organise sources into folders inside of folders. This would be a real help. Thanks!

  14. Bring back the explore page

Where did the explore page go? I used it to find new feeds. Bring it back!

  15. provide a sub-category capability

I need to be able to group categories into various sub-categories - much like a directory structure. e.g. Innovation Management breaks down into Innovation Modelling, Innovators, etc.

  16. Uservoice is not suited for bug reports, need a bug tracker

I'm tired of pushing votes from one issue to another to be able to post something new, this is just super inconvenient for issue reporting. So, should i just spam to your support email? Please give a proper bug tracker.

  17. Add the ability to aggregate/combine items

This is one thing I wish Google had done, add the ability for Feedly to recognize duplicate items with in a Category from multiple feeds and combine into one (ala Google News).

This is definitely an "out there" suggestion, as I know what I'm asking isn't easy to code, but it would be an absolute killer feature.

Basically I group similar feeds into categories, but when something massive happens (say Samsung S4 launch) you get each feed reporting the same thing, it would be great if Feedly could recognize that and combine them, pick one to show as the main,…

  18. Block-select/multiple-select

I would like to see a block-select/multiple-select ability for news entries/titles in a list/category. It will be very useful for when you want to manipulate many titles at once, such as tagging, save-for-later, or mark-as-read them.

  19. add the option to prioritize feeds

I want to see ALL of the updates right at the top of my page for certain news feeds. And most updates from other feeds. And occasional updates from other feeds.

  20. sort read and unread articles differently

I'd like an option where I can sort read articles by newest articles and unread articles by oldest articles. As of now feedly only sorts either by newest or oldest articles.

When I read my unread articles I like reading the older ones first to maintain chronological order, but when I trying to go back to an unread article it sorts by oldest first which takes me a month back and I have to soft through 100s of articles if I dont switch the sort order.
