  1. make section/view with sorted by engagement number

Every article has engagement number. It shows how many times this article was shared.
This can be used as curating tool.
I suggest to make separate view or section with all articles from all RSS subscriptions sorted by engagement rating.

  2. Add "Mark Read" for the past day, past week, etc

Allow for a more granular way of marking posts "Read". For example: Mark All Read, Mark "Items Older than a day", Mark "Items Older than a week" etc.

  3. Add sort by likes

You already have the amazing count for the likes in Facebook - please add an option to sort by the number of likes! (other relevance measures are possible and welcome!)

  4. Add a search function within the Saved for Later category

A Reader without an internal search function is completely useless!

  5. Do not mark items as read after 30 days as crappy GReader does

One of the ways to destroy GReader was to mark items read which are older than 30days - with the new Normandy backend, please do not do this!

    Hi,

The fact that articles are automatically marked as read after 30 days is a performance thing in feedly, we have this set in the back-end as this allows for better/faster refreshing and handling of the unread counts and articles.

    2 comments on this:

    1. For feeds that publish less frequently but that you still want to follow diligently, there is a preference setting in feedly to mark certain feeds as “Must Read”, this may be a useful feature for this purpose: http://feedly.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/263389-how-to-mark-unmark-as-must-read-

    2. Just in case this isn’t clear: you can still access the entire feed history we have indexed in feedly over time by setting your feed preferences to display all articles (read and unread). To set this preference, see: http://feedly.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/297491-view-read-unread-articles-only

  6. get titles view on iOS

do not see the change layout and filtering on the ipad version of Feedly. There should be a titles view.

  7. create a way to sort feed by newest, oldest, or other.

I've come over from Google Reader and would like to see this feature brought into Feedly. Currently, Feedly is only showing me the newest stuff but it makes it more difficult to catch up from oldest to newest with the current way it is organized.

  8. Transition - Scroll

On the iPhone app (version 14) - When transition is set to Scroll, it still scrolls one screen at a time i.e. there is a jerking effect where the minimum unit of scrolling is one screen-full. Can true, continuous vertical scrolling be added such that any article in the list view can be made to show up at the top of the view, something that is not currently possible. Thanks

  11. Tagging on mobile

Love the tagging on the web version. This feature needs to be on the mobile versions as well.

  12. default filter (unread) in the preferences

For all feeds, the default filter is to show only 'unread' articles. I don't want to have to click this for each feed, even though it is the first time only. I generally want all my articles to show, and it is already stylized to show what I haven't read.

  14. Select Multiple Tags

There are times when one tag is not enough. It would be great to be able to select multiple tags from the list.

  15. let us upload a profile picture directly to Feedly

At present, my Feedly profile photo comes directly from Google Reader. What happens when Google goes away? It should be possible to upload a profile photo directly to Feedly. As it is, I've tried changing my photo at Google, but it won't accept the change. So an old profile photo, which is what is currently on Google, is also on Feedly.

  16. Add Team Management to Feedly

I have a team of about 8 people for social media marketing for my website. It would be nice if we could share, discover, and add sources and content under a global account while still having personal preferences (such as layout, social login, etc). This would create a wonderful space for a team of writers to organize and share content.

-If team management were implemented, then please add some sort of log (like a check mark with a name) next to articles that have been read or shared by other team members. This would avoid duplicates and would help us…

  18. Provide big clear buttons for 'mark read/keep unread' in every view (list, magazine, etc).

On the tiles or list items, an easy-to-click icon to dismiss (or keep unread) any individual item.

  19. global option for "changing layout and filtering" views and filter settings

This is only available in the individual feeds, or folders.
but i would like to set these option globally: e.g I like to have the "Unread Only" filter unchecked everywhere, but i need to do this job one by one. same to the "View" option: I would like to use the "Titles" view everywhere, but i have to set this option in every folder. thanks in advance.
