  1. In Android, an option to always open in my preferred browser.

It took me a little time but I'm starting to like Feedly on my Nexus 7. However, Feedly forces me to take an unnecessary step to open an item in my preferred browser (which happens to be Dolphin).
From the "teaser" item, Feedly should open an item using a "preferred browser" option
Alternatively, add an "open in preferred browser" icon to the "teaser" item (the same icon now exists on the expanded item).

  2. change the iOS app (and Android/Kindle) so it will stream audio from podcasts without stopping when screen locks or when multitasking

I currently use Feedler to access my Google Reader account on my iPhone and I would love to switch to Feedly, but I listen to a large number of podcasts through RSS (I hate iTunes) and having the audio stream stop when the screen locks or when I background the app to do something else is a non-starter for me.

  6. Please support "paste" on long-pressing the Search Dialog Box in Android app to insert specific RSS URLs.

The standard Android keyboard behaviour on text input fields long-press is to show a context menu style "PASTE" button. To add specific RSS feeds to the reader, copy-paste of precise URLs is very important. I can't find a way to do it as the Android app now stands. (Am I stupid? I hope not!)

Thank you for considering this improvement.

  7. (Android App) Do not load the linked web pages in Feedly's crippled browser. (Or give us the option to turn it off)

By default when you tap on a link to the article it opens it in Feedly. Browsing in Feedly is not ideal because it's not a fully functional browser-- i.e. no toolbar provided "back" button, and Android's "back" button goes back to the Feedly list of articles rather than the previous page, making browsing multi-page articles a pain. I realize there is the (Chrome icon) button at the top that opens a web browser, but sometimes it's not always there (replaced by "Save Article") or even worse, some of my streams don't have a "preview" and go right to the…

  10. Android Widget stuck on Feedly logo

When I add the Feedly widget to my Android home screen, it never shows articles, only the Feedly logo. I've tried waiting, I've tried rebooting, I've tried deleting and readding the widget, to no avail.

  11. Android push notifications by feed or category

I've voted for an existing suggestion to add Android notifications, but what I'd really like is to be able to configure notifications by feed or at least by category. This is a feature my current Google-based reader has that I now consider essential. Another reader I'm testing has notifications, but it's all or nothing, which I find isn't that useful. For a personal example, I want to be notified when my friends update their blogs, but I don't want to be bothered every time a news source adds another article--if I can configure notifications differently by source I can be…

  12. Material design for Android app?

I'm not saying the current design is bad (it's part of the reason why I'm still using it) but I would like to see the Material Design elements implemented in things like the ripple effect when selecting something on the sidebar.

  14. Ability to access feedly articles offline

I often read my Feedly when I am away from home, however my data plan only accommodates one gigabyte of data a month. I suggest that there should be an offline mode for unread articles: a button you can press in the main menu that will save unread articles and their corresponding pages in the cache so they can be read through when you are away from wifi. Said cache should then be deleted with another menu button.

  16. Feedly for Sailfish OS

Made Feedly available for Jolla's Sailfish OS. Sailfish can use Android apps (if .apk is available or offered in Jollas android store or what ever the Jolla's decision will be), but the native Qt based Sailfish app, with nice UI which fits in Sailfish OS, would be nice.

  17. Fix Split screen / multitasking on the iPad

Split screen with feedly does not resize the content / app UI properly.

  18. create an app for the Blackberry Playbook.

Just switched to Feedly from Google Reader and love it. However, I can no longer read on my Playbook, which is very disappointing. Any chance you can create an app for the Playbook?
