  1. Inline Next Story (J) shortcut recently started not consistently going to the story headline.

Inline Next Story (J) shortcut recently (in the last few days) started not consistently going to the story headline. Some times it goes to the middle of the story instead.

    • Expose controls for stopping auto-scroll when I open a list item

Used to be that when I clicked on a line item, it would open the story below and no scrolling would occur. Now it auto-scrolls so the headline is at the top of the screen. This makes cycling through line items a lot slower (click on item, auto-scroll happens, manually scroll to see next item, click...etc). It'd be great if this were an optional feature please.

      • Save articles directly from websites to feedly's "Saved for Later" section -- as you would for Pocket or Instapaper.

I want to be able to save articles to Feedly, so I can do all my reading in one place and not need to use Pocket as well (as great as it is).

          • Make feedly not auto-remove items that get 'saved for later' unchecked

Currently, while reading the 'Saved for later' and unchecking the 'Save for later' tag, the item is auto-removed instantly. If you accidentally hit the 'save for later' button, this is not so nice. GR removed unstarred items from the star list on refresh, which is preferred IMHO.

            • Oracle Security Alerts feed

I'm unable to subscribe to the Oracle Security Alerts feed.
The same feed, I had subscribed earlier works no longer since ca. Oktober or maybe earlier
              Please fix it. :)

I have one feed that won't update: The Corner from National Review. I have unsubscribed and resubscribed, but still no updates since Monday 4/16/13. All other feeds seem to be updating normally.

Hello, we’d like to address this issue with couple ways to do when one of your feeds is not updating.
There are more scenarios, usually when the feeds it not updating, there might have been a change on the side of the website, blog, news site you follow. Sometimes they change the URL of the feed – you can go to the website and look for the new one.
Here are some tips on adding feeds to your feedly or discovering them on the site: https://feedly.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/187494-how-to-add-news-feeds-to-your-feedly

Sometimes when you see you have the correct RSS feed URL and that the site produces new content, they might have blocked us – in this case, please let us know either through Twitter: https://twitter.com/feedly or the Open Community: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/113648582731838175643

                  Thank you.

                • Preferences option has disappeared...

The Preferences option used to be at the bottom of the left hand side menu, beneath the list of my Personal Feeds.

Now, the only things there are 'Share collections' and 'Recently Read'.

                  Where have the Preferences gone?!

                    Hi,
It seems feeds are erased if not looked at within 30 days.
                    You should change this

The fact that articles are automatically marked as read after 30 days is a performance thing in feedly, we have this set in the back-end as this allows for better/faster refreshing and handling of the unread counts and articles.

                      2 comments on this:

                      1. For feeds that publish less frequently but that you still want to follow diligently, there is a preference setting in feedly to mark certain feeds as “Favorite”, this may be a useful feature for this purpose: http://feedly.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/263389-how-to-mark-unmark-as-must-read-

                      2. Just in case this isn’t clear: you can still access the entire feed history we have indexed in feedly over time by setting your feed preferences to display all articles (read and unread). To set this preference, see: http://feedly.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/297491-view-read-unread-articles-only

                    • Saved for later bug

I have a bug on my “Saved For Later” list. One article is stuck in there, even when I take the “Saved For Later” tag off it keeps being displayed on my list… and it's the most frustrating experience I had.

This bug made me think about a feature, a Single button to empty the “Saved for Sater” list, removing all the tags from all the articles using just one click or even 2 —if you add it on one menu.

This is different to the concept of “Mark as Read” I don't mean to mark them as read, I…

                      • allow adding pages to "Saved for later" from outside of feedly

Currently I use a separate app for saving pages outside of feedly and, of course, the "save for later" feature inside feedly. This leave me with to apps/lists that do the same thing. I'd love it if I could send the current page I'm on to my "saved for later" list, using an extension or bookmarklet for example.

                          • add a search feature to the "Saved for later" section.

I need to be able to search saved articles at later dates. Google reader had a search function where I could search by keyword or even exact phrase for specific articles I had saved. It's very handy when you have a tonne of saved articles and you're looking for one in particular.

                            • not auto-remove unflagged items from "saved for later" view.

It would be nice when browsing "saved for later" view if it did not auto-remove unflagged items. I would like to unflag them and then "disappear" the items all at once with the refresh shortcut. it would lead to smoother browsing of that list.

                              • [chrome] Add ability to "save for later" from bookmarklet

I've just found a new blog with an article I really like, and I want to save it for later, and add the blog in feedly. I can't find an easy way to do that. There's no button in the chrome extension, and if I go in feedly and add the site, if the post I found is older, I can't find it, so I can't save it for later. What a buzzkill :( since it would be so easy to do.

                                  • Save for later any url

I would like to use feedly also as save for later for any articles/urls, not only those coming from feeds.

E.g. in work I come to an article I don't have time to read immediately, I would like to save it for later and find it later among the others from feeds I starred.

Maybe just as a "dummy" feed or a "save for later in feedly" button in browser.

I can find no way to remove items placed in the Saved For Later folder.

                                        • fix the 'Saved for Later' functionality - put it back the way it used to be

Say you have 100 items in your 'Saved for Later' section, with #1 being the most recent item and #100 being the oldest item.

Say you're on item #90 and you unsave it, then go to 'next' (oldest) saved item by pressing 'k' button; it used to go to the next item, but now it skips back to #1.

                                          This is infuriating.

Now imagine you have 1000 'Saved for Later' items and you're on item #999, and you un-save it, and want to go to 'next' item, and instead you're bumped alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way back to the beginning.

                                          I mean,…
