Show the actual contents of RSS and Atom feeds
I think Feedly is suddenly trying to be "smart" about what content it shows from RSS and Atom feeds. As far as I know, it used to show exactly what was in the feed. Now it seems to be showing (some of) the contents of the web page that each entry links to. This seems like it could be useful, but it is not even always correctly identifying the "contents" that should be shown. In one case, it showed me one very long comment from the blog entry, instead of showing me the actual entry.
It is also not showing the entry contents from the feed at all, even if there's no content to show from the web page.
I'm not sure if this is a new "feature" or if it's a special thing with "teams" (I just joined a Feedly team for the first time), but I would like a way to turn it off. Maybe a per-feed control for this would be best (but it would be fine to let me turn it off globally).
Hello Alan, can you please send us examples of sources/feeds where we don’t show what is in the actual content of the RSS feed? It must be some sort of mistake/bug. You can reach out at firstname.lastname@example.org
