Enable offline reading for all unread items +images in feeds
I catch up on my RSS reading in the metro (spotty at best cell service) and on flights (often no service even available) -- please enable offline reading of unread items, and sync unread/bookmark/etc. on the next connect. The workflow of the MobileRSS app does this very well currently, and allows per-folder caching and selection of whether to cache images or not, on wifi only or any connection. That is a bit overboard, but being able to add an offline cache is the main feature I'll miss moving from my current solution.
PS: Otherwise, great app!
The current feedly apps (iOS and Android) do not offer offline article caching.
This is a feature we are looking into.
If you’re looking for offline support, some feedly partner apps support it (eg.Reeder and Newsify on iOS, or Press on Android).
Those apps are powered by the feedly Cloud API and will seamlessly recreate your reading environment (all your feeds are sync’ed from feedly when you login).

please don't forget do add a queue (for later submission) for stuff I add to pocket, when I'm offline....
I would definitely pay for the app if such an offline-sync would work stable!

merge all the threads for Offline support ..
Agree with Barry Irving. How else to catch up on one week of Tech Crunch on a flight from New York to San Francisco, or read World news from The Guardian on my morning subway commute?

Yeah, Feedly really needs this - see Byline for an excellent example of offline caching and selectable control over it.

Please enable/allow offline reading. I often don't have network access when I'm on a plane, in a cave, and on Mars. Seriously, we'd like offline caching.

I think caching of all feeds for offline use is mandatory for the mobile app.

Like Newsify, display a progress bar: http://newsify.co/

Needs to be a way to either select which feeds are saved for offline beyond today and saved, download all at certain intervals. User Configuration is the holy grail here, though even the "frequently used feeds" download that the Android Reader has would be a great start.

Oh yes, do it please ! Otherwise I won't be able to stay with you. No network on my way to work and this is the only moment i have to read my feeds...
So this option is mandatory for me to replace the Greader/NewsRob combo
Saved and today is not enough.
My commute is partially underground, and partially across bridges. Lots of dead zones. I have to be able to get offline access to *everything*, and then let it sync up when I'm back on wifi.
I'm being forced to leave my Newsrob/Reader combo which I loved, and Newsrob would pre-cache the most recent 2,000 articles on my phone at night, so I'd have plenty of reading material while on mass transit.

Absolutely essential for a mobile app. Unread and saved articles, and images!
I read my feeds while on the subway (no wifi, of course!) or on flights (often the only reason I pay for in-flight wifi is to read feeds!).
