I suggest you ...

Organize subscriptions within the categories

I would like to organize my subscriptions within the categories and to give them an order (not necessarily alphabetical). As far as I know, there is no such possibility in current version. In Google Reader I was used to have them organized in a certain order within the category. I do not know if you have in program to add such feature but it will be great for me :) thanks

Renaming categories is a must. Doesn't seem to be any ways to do it.

Yes I agree. This is really essential!!! Please do it now!!!

Has this really not been implemented yet? Or can I just not see how to reorder feeds? It's such an astonishing oversight I assume it must be me. Perhaps this exciting feature is being saved for Pro accounts.

This would be a very nice feature to have.

+1 - I end up splitting feeds into a dozen extra categories just so I can read things in the order I want... while this works, it's an awful work around.

I agree with others that it should be possible to reorder feeds within a category. I'd also like to be able to easily rename a category, especially when an imported OPML file shows one called "Uncategorized."

Thank You Feedly for stepping in to pick up the slack, but I miss Google Reader more and more by the minute.

+1 this feature has caused me to move on. This product is not a Google Reader worthy replacement

I imported my feeds from Google and they went into the "uncategorized" section. Any way to create new a new category and move a feed from one to the other?

I think it's only fair that I update my previous comment. I'm back. I couldn't find anything better. (I liked The Old Reader, but their refresh rates were too low.) So I guess I'll rename my subscription names with numbers in front of them so they're in the order I want. I guess this feature wasn't the dealbreaker I thought it was.

This is a dealbreaker for me. Feedly is my first try at migrating from Google Reader. Because of this issue I'm going to move on and try something else.

This is the only thing preventing me from using Feedly. Seriously.

Feedly's feed order is not random, it's actually in descending order of number of new items in each feed. That said, I totally agree with what everyone else is saying, in that I want MY feeds to be organised MY way, not feedly's way, especially for feeds that may only have a few important items a day vs feeds that just spam hundreds of occasionally interesting things. We need many more people voting for this feature.

I don't think this is coming guys, such a bummer :(
