Allow authenticated feeds from services like Factiva
My single reason for not converting to Feedly in this moment of dire need is that about half the feeds I follow for work are from our paid Factiva service. Factiva allows me to create a feed for their alerts, and Google Reader just displays the meta-description for each result (just like they do for Google News Alerts); once I click on a story, sure, I have to log in. That's fine. However, when I converted to Feedly, those feeds aren't being pulled in. Instead, I get this error message:
"Feedly was not able to load feed: Access to this feed might require a username and password (feedly does not know yet how to access and load authenticated feeds)."
.... nooooooooo! Please, Feedly, fix this. I cannot be the only person using Google Reader to access and vet authenticated feeds.
Sadly, votes seem to be split between this and https://feedly.uservoice.com/forums/192636-suggestions/suggestions/3747673-support-protected-feeds. I wish we could mark duplicates to unify votes
Really? one of my biggest feeds just switched to authenticated.... this means I'm going to have to leave feedly.

Authenticated feeds is my #1 wish for Feedly.

+ 1 - Authenticated feeds seem useful, especially for anyone who owns a cart or blog or other which has private feeds built in (like for new comments in WP or new orders in many carts).
Now that I'm being forced to switch from Google Reader, I will definitely be finding a solution that supports authenticated feeds. If Feedly is unable to do that at some point in the near future, I will find a different solution.
Adding my vote.
