fix updating of YouTube feed
I subscribed to my YouTube subscriptions using this URL:
When I add it to feedly, it works fine and fetches the videos. However, when I try to manually update it, it doesn't show any new videos. Also if I come back a few hours later it doesn't show me new videos either even though I know that there are a bunch of new ones.
I think the issue is that after adding it, it tries to fetch the feed from https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center which is defined in the feed's <link rel='alternate'> tag. Why? Because I noticed that the link on the feed's title in feedly points to https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center
So just ignore the alternate location and fetch the feed from where you're supposed to fetch it and it should be fixed.

For subscription for certain keywords in RSS, it worked all the time.
For subscription for your own account subscription channels, I bet there is some change in Youtube policy that causing it malfunction unless you do some necessary changes as I met this problem also few months ago causing my subscription in RSS of my youtube subscription failed.
You will need to UNTICK "Keep all my subscriptions private" in order to make the RSS subscription of your own subscription youtube worked.

How do the YouTube feed updates work? The majority of my feeds on Feedly are from YouTube channels. All of these feeds are about two days behind on updates. They also seem to update in chunks as I found one feed to have 25 videos that were all at least a day old on YouTube. This is a big usability issue for me because I watch alot of news channels and need the feeds to be updated within one day of the video's posting.
Here is an example.
This video was posted to YouTube on 8-Jul-2013.
When I hover over the post date on Feedly it says:
Published 10-Jul-2013 09:10:54 GMT
Received 11-Jul-2013 16:51:49 GMT
That's 3 days after it was originally posted to YouTube. Google Reader never went more than a day behind. Can this be fixed? I cannot use Feedly if it is this badly out of date for news videos.
I had the same problem

I had the same problem but using these feed URLs it did show the latest videos there, waiting for any recent update to check if there's any delay:

This is a bad problem. My YouTube feeds are all at least two days behind.
