Clone Google Alerts. Allow users to set up keywords so feedly can notify them when relevant news emerges. Allow for matching news filtering (country, content-type, category, etc). Present an individual feed for every active alert, all of them under the "Alerts" category so it can be accesed from 3rd part apps also, and also so its possible to keep track of each alert history.
Cheers to the feedly team, awesome work so far :)
Quick update on Alerts: this is a feature that we have been exploring and a natural evolution of Search within your feedly,
We will update the community when it becomes available in feedly.
Please, please, please do this. There are hundreds of us out there that would like an integrated google alerts to feedly option.

Can't support this feature enough. Increased allows the user to set up rules. You can have an "Active Search" on a keyword that when found in Your feeds or Beyond your feeds (All Inoreader Sources) you can have it automatically tagged, or have Inoreader send a notification from the app that a new article with that word has appeared. Or both. Feebly really needs this kind of power added for Paying customers. It's sad that Inoreader has offered this feature for over a year now and they have less staff and funding than Feedly. Development of Feedly is painfully slow.
I Would import my alert google in Feedly or better that feedly makes it's own alert like google otherwise it is very difficult to import all the info from a website to another. please let me have some suggestion. Thanks in advance, for your help.
Agreed. Notifications is key. Something along these lines perhaps: http://techcrunch.com/2015/03/04/hooks/?ncid=rss
Is it now possible to have news alerts based on keywords?

Agreed - would be a great feature. Really helpful!
Dear Remi Trang,
I hope it'll allow me to search through feeds and then send me an email when a phrase is matched. Right now, I'm curious about: Flight 370, crimea, etc. Instant notification would be much appreciated!!
I would also really like this. Hope it will be there. Currently looking at an alternative service to get this feature.
