Once you're logged on to Feedly there's no obvious way to add a new feed.
The search box on the top only searches "in your feeds and boards".
I had to google for an answer, eventually I found out we need to use a different search box on the 'Discover' section: https://feedly.com/i/discover
The problem is that there is no link to the discover section anywhere on our board.
I suggest you:
1. Add a link to 'discover' somewhere on our home page
2. Add a button 'Add new Source' to the Organize Sources area.
Thank you!6 votes
stop embedding ads in the feed or I and hopefully/likely every single client you have will leave your product. don't be garbage. be an actual useful product3 votes
There's some feeds I want to follow but they post waaay too often. It'd be nice if Feedly offered tools for adding new sources that don't overwhelm us with content (and effectively drown out the lower volume feeds we also follow). One option might be the ability to create digests, combining lots of small posts into one bigger one. Another might be to filter the posts based on how hot the article is, perhaps using Feedly metrics to decide which to include.1 vote
Just this weekend I started seeing duplicate posts (like 4 or 5 of them) in my feed, resulting in a couple hundred posts I had to scroll through, rather than the actual 50+ that were really there. There doesn't seem to be a related post to this from within the last few years, so I'm posting this new one and hopefully it will get some attention.3 votes
You used to be able to see all the previous posts if a feed has new posts. You still can on the Android app, but this functionality seems to have disappeared (again) on the desktop version. Why do you keep doing this? It's nice to be able to mark a feed as read and then go back to dig something up again. Is this a plot to make us pay for searchability in Pro?9 votes
Ability to edit feeds. I love my news feeds but I HATE all the useless sports stories and scores there. How can I exclude those???

It's impossible to save a current page in "Read later" if you don't already have at last one board created. I don't use boards and I dont want to create one for that.3 votes
I would like to be able to a note when subscribing to a feed so that i can remind myself why I subscribe to a feed. I follow a lot of different company blogs and keyword searches that don't often get updated but when they do I'd like a quick way to see what prompted me to follow them in the first place.3 votes
When there are sites that are unreachable by feedly, user don't have clue what was wrong. eg. http://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/http://www.radiomaryja.pl/feed/
I am able to read the address (downloaded file in attachment), Opera Browser was able to show the feeds news, but not Feedly.
Feedly displays it as "Unreachable", but user don't know if feedly cannot connect to the server, the format of RSS is wrong (like whitespaces before <?xml> tag), or there is 404 error.
Other site was also in "unreachable" state, but there was change in the RSS feed address.21 votes
I'm a heavy daily user for years and have never had this issue. A single article was saved, read, and unsaved but remains in my saved list. Checking/unchecking the green pip, clearing cookies, logging out, and restarting browser all in vain.1 vote
Sometimes RSS feed URL would change, so Feedly should allow users to modify existing feeds to point to a new RSS url.
So that we won't have to delete cached articles.3 votes
Record a database of authors within feeds to allow users to follow authors regardless of the publication they are in
Using your existing database of feeds, create a database of authors and an authentication mechanism (integrate with LinkedIn?) to have an authoritative feed of an individual author regardless of the publication. Smartly integrate with your traditional feeds to not duplicate content and give proper credit to the publication.
You could give that individual a controllable landing page that they could promote. This would be a windfall for freelance writers and would promote feedly. Getting the cooperation of the creators of content would give you much smarter and more correct data for other tools.4 votes
Proposing topics on which a person could be interested and provide news from sources that you didn't subscribe on that topic.
For example someone is subscribing to:
etc etc etc
and the result is that you get the news with these topics from the most popular and read sources, later you can subscribe to someone of these if you like them.
Sorry SJWs, don't feel offended, this is just an example.3 votes
Because on the iOS app refresh and mark all read are side by side - maybe an "are you sure" dialog before wiping out 700+ to be read articles?1 vote
When I read an article and scroll down the page, and then finish, I have to scroll back up the page to check the "x" indicating I'm done with this article. I would like to see the "x" (header) NOT scroll, so I could simply click it (when I'm done) without having to scroll back to the top of the page.2 votes
While some washingtonpost feeds have disappeared, it seems that you've stopped updating feeds that still exist
it has updates today, but in feedly (even with unread only unchecked), I only see posts from 3 day ago and older1 vote
I have tried all methods suggested to get Feedly to load this feed from http://www.eureferendum.com but it either comes up with nothing or a feed that has not been updated for over a year.1 vote
My team has found the process of choosing a tag for an article, importing, then adding additional tags to be laborious. We often have to add in a dozen or more articles to our Feedly account and it wastes time. We would like to mass import our articles into feedly and then go back and tag them individually or better yet to be able to select multiple articles and mass tag them. Sometimes we will tag articles with 3 or 4 different labels. Additionally, when we send out the daily brief to our colleagues it would be nice to have additional options besides just the full text or text and giant picture view. We would like to see an option where the image is smaller and off to the side.

I would like to know the accuracy of "Articles per week" which is displayed for each feed. I wonder on what basis you calculate these publishing frequency count.6 votes
