unfortunately, everywhere, code comes, code goes, even if it works nicely, it may be a resource Hog on the back side, or just an OOPS, it got into the wild. It's a price we pay for apps, and connectivity. Remember how freaked users get with each new version of Office? OMG! LOL
Adding Google Drive as an option to back-up your feeds (the same way we currently support via Dropbox) is something we are looking into.

...especially since we (I) login using Google Credentials, Google Apps for Work, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Keep (like Evernote) would all be a logical step. IDK what working through the Google Apps for Work API is like, but I've dug in the "MS Office & Outlook" API, that's a scary place to go!
