This bug prevents me from adding new content. I devoted 3 votes to this problem.

On a touchscreen laptop or desktop, the mouse or touchpad pointer can hover over the sidebar.

At the moment we don’t offer feedly for Windows phones. But here are a couple of things that might interest you:

    - You can access feedly from NextGen, a Windows Phone and Windows 8 app. See more here: http://www.feedly.com/apps.html

    - feedly is available pure web (plugin and extension-free) and can be used on Windows as a result. Try here: http://cloud.feedly.com/

NextGen looks nice, and generally works well, but has miscellaneous difficulties with loading web pages within its window. So for now, I am using the feedly web in Modern IE, which means opening links in new tabs (or the Modern equivalent thereof).

As a lifetime subscriber, I would like to put my new-found clout behind this issue. I used Google Reader just as Steph did, and more than once I have made the mistake that Pam described on 29 June.
